Job Summary: The Used Equipment Specialist is responsible for proactively sourcing used equipment and accessories, coordinating with the sales team to provide quotes for clients, ensuring inventory levels are maintained, and working with our energy solutions department and outside vendors to source power for all trucks. The successful candidate will work with our rental and shop staffs to determine reconditioning costs and provide quotes to the sales teams. He or she will also be responsible for achieving set departmental financial objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Source used forklifts, batteries, chargers and aerial lifts for sales requests
- Work with rental team, dealer network, and outside vendors to source equipment
- Work with shop technicians to determine reconditioning costs
- Price used equipment – work with sales team to provide quotes for our customers
- Create quotes for all equipment to send to sales team via internal system
- Work closely with fleet manager to determine rental asset life cycle and when to sell as used equipment
- Work with internal battery department and outside vendors to source power for all trucks
- Source additional equipment to keep for used inventory
- Field quote requests from sales teams and direct customers for used equipment
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of material handling equipment, heavy equipment logistics, warehouse operations and inventory practices
- Knowledge of general office business practices, preferably in a service environment
- Knowledge and confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications as well as web applications as needed
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Requires strong problem solving, organizational and time management capabilities
- Strong mental ability to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure or stress
- Ability to prioritize workload and maintain flexibility while working as part of a team
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and remain focused while working in a fast-paced environment
