We're currently seeking a strong, customer-focused individual to add to our service team in York, PA. As a Service Coordinator, you'll be responsible for receiving incoming service calls from customers, interacting with service technicians, facilitating service billing, and overseeing the distribution of service-related information between customers, technicians, and other departments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the material handling industry, be highly organized, possess advanced computer skills and excellent communications skills, and be able to easily multi-task. Service management or accounting system experience is a plus.

About The Opportunity:
- Receive service calls from customers
- Process work orders utilizing the current Pengate business-management system
- Handle special billing needs of customers
- Maintain an accurate database
- Provide support for technicians to obtain maximum efficiency
- Process warranty claims
- Track technicians' weekly time via reports in order to verify all time is appropriately billed
- Receive, review, and distribute paperwork
- Complete installation reports for all new equipment
- Order and follow up on Parts issues for technicians
- Issue purchase order numbers (PO #s) to vendors as needed
- Support the policies and procedure of the Pengate computer system and company as a whole
- Coordinate service with subcontractors at customer locations
- Arrange freight for service and support equipment and materials
- Perform other duties as needed
Required Skills:
- Minimum of high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer-service environment (billing experience a plus)
- PC/mainframe data entry experience; strong computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Powerpoint in particular)
- Good sense of urgency with the ability to handle frequently changing priorities and multiple tasks at once
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, aural)
- Able to work independently as well as be a positive team player
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for both accuracy and success
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrated success in customer service
- Resilient; able to work in a fast-paced environment
